The vision for neighborhood
youth centers began to take form in 1994. Founder,
Steve Hare, initially met with a group of 18 middle
school students, challenging them to live by faith.
They met at Steve's home and other locations for
four years until the vision became a reality.
The
first Bridges for Youth center opened through God's
provision and to His glory at 834 N. National Ave.
on October 29, 1998. Read about the Miracles!
The Nichols Center was added through
God's provision and to His glory in 2001 and now
houses the organization's main office.
Bridges for Youth's third center was
opened through God's provision and to His glory
on January 16, 2004 at 2236 S. Ingram Mill Road.
The fourth Bridges For Youth Center
was opened through God's provision and to His glory
on January 12th, 2005.
Our fifth neighborhood center was opened through God’s provision and to His glory on March 13, 2006, at 2143 W. High in Springfield, Mo.
We celebrated the opening of our first youth center in a small town on April 6, 2006. The Marshfield Bridges For Youth Center, our 6th youth center, opened through God’s provision and to His glory at 302 S. Clay in Marshfield, Mo. |
