About Us
The heart of our youth centers and our purpose is to provide unconditional love and acceptance to kids, ages 6-18. We are a Christian based organization that was founded in 1994. Just a simple completed program registration enables a child to be a part of our youth centers. You may have heard that we do not charge kids to attend. You heard right. Many of the kids we serve are from very low income families and in some very unimaginable situations and they don't need any barriers in their way to keep them from getting daily support, encouragement and love at the Bridges For Youth Centers.
We operate at the heart of neighborhoods where there are tremendous needs among the kids and families whole live there. Our staff and volunteers are passionate about never giving upon kids, and that translates into changed lives.
Bridges For Youth centers have been established over the years through our faith in God and our dependence on Him for our every need. A lack of funds has not prevented us from opening center after center for kids. We wholeheartedly give God the glory for Bridges For Youth's success.
In 1998 we served only a handful of kids at the 834 N. National location. Through the years we have stepped out in faith 7 times, with no money in our pockets and have trusted in God to provide. He has delivered all 7 times and we are currently on the verge of creating and opening our center at 1230 W. Madison.
All of this and our youth centers continue to exist through donors who share in our passion to bring hope and love to kids.
