Keeping in touch with people plays a major role in keeping the Bridges For Youth Centers open for kids. Whether it be an upcoming fundraiser, an urgent and immediate need, or simply a story about the kids who attend our centers, you wouldn't know about any of these if you weren't connected
with us.
Everyone can make a difference in some way, but it all starts with being connected. Several stories come to mind of people who have made a difference by simply responding to a need, request, or story in the Bridgebuilder. A need for an air hockey table was mentioned last year, and a couple responded by donating one they no longer used and was just sitting in their basement. More recently a neighborhood church noticed we needed snacks and showed up with 18 cases of Little Debbie snacks they had in their food pantry. The need for a 15 passenger van was expressed two years ago, and a church van was donated that was no longer used.
