Snack Angels List

We call them Snack Angels. They are people who donate snacks and other items for us to serve kids at the 5 Bridges For Youth Centers. Our centers serve between 150 and 200 free snacks to kids each day. The snack angel drop off point is our office at 1039 W. Nichols.

  • Homemade items need to be approved through Bridges office
  • Fruit snacks
  • Fresh fruit
  • Carrots
  • Gallons of orange juice, milk
  • Canned soda
  • Variety of kool-aid drink mixes, tub size
  • Hot chocolate

Current Needs

  • 8 ounce cups
  • Pinesol
  • 13 gallon trash bags
  • Straight brooms
  • Counter rags
  • Toilet paper, Toilet cleaner
  • Copy paper, colored construction paper
  • Family movies PG or G, VHS or DVD. Many people have switched over to DVD and have lots of VHS tapes they never watch anymore. We would lvoe to have any movies like this. Family friendly movies are shown daily at our centers.

BIG Wish List  

A 15-Passenger Vans or Buses in good condition to pick up kids from school. Many kids who come to Bridges for Youth wouldn't be able to without rides from School. Most days it takes two trips just to bring them all!

An acquaintance recently shared with me that the time we are blessed with each day is actually God’s.  As stewards of that time we are responsible for using that time wisely to the glory of God.

One of the best things you can do besides supporting Bridges For Youth financially is to come alongside us and be a volunteer.

You have the opportunity to be a regular volunteer at any of our youth centers.
Generally, our volunteer need at the centers is from 3:30 in the afternoon until 5:30. On Fridays we are open until 8:30, so we have a need for volunteers between 3:30 to 8:30 pm.

Volunteer forms and background check forms are available by calling 864-4167. Background checks are required to work around the kids.
